Tinhat theory but does anyone think with the deal closed Sony could've caved & gamepass might end up being on playstation & then Phil can say oh our games on the platform when they're just on a Microsoft subscription & cloud streamed
I've visited this forum here and there since July.

You have said some of the most useless, room temperature IQ statements I've ever seen.

I don't see much changing tbh and they've already said things like COD will stay multi-platform which honestly they would be stupid not to because they will obviously generate more profit by doing so just like they did with Minecraft and keeping that multi-platform. I can however see things like early DLC first type things happening. I would like to see them bring back some older Activision content and hopefully get some more BC titles.
Their stated goal is to boost the gamepass subs numbers, to do this they need to make exclusive content.

If someone with an xbox is happy about this, well I don't know what to tell them... now they have CoD and other stuff they were already going to have. I don't think a customer should be enthusiastic about some service(s) or a list of studios, this is the sausage making apparatus. These people better start delivering the games, as Phil has promised for almost 10 years now!

I'm 1 of those people that are happy. I also not just limited to 1 console. In fact I would be just as happy if this was PSPlus getting all of this content. I really enjoy digital games and services.

This marks the end of Blizzard as we knew it. Activision is an assembly line for the production of Call of Duty. King is nothing I care about.

Nah uncle Phil cares about the gamers he's going to revive a bunch of single player IPs that aren't big money makers & stop churning out call of duty every year & they're going to stop microtransactions & reduce prices back to £60 ... / S

Pc gamers are going to get hit with that 'next gen' tax now because there's no way they're going to have games they own cheaper on steam than they are on Xbox
No reason to believe this. You think Steam is going to start charging $80/year to play games online?

Phil has been promising that since 2008, when he was appointed head of Xbox Game Studios worldwide, after his smashing success in doing fuck all of note as head of Xbox Game Studios Europe.
