We’ve now signed a binding 10-year contract to bring Xbox games to Nintendo’s gamers. This is just part of our commitment to bring Xbox games and Activision titles like Call of Duty to more players on more platforms.

Won’t be on switch that’s for sure. Would be their next handheld… Would be nice if Nintendo actually had a functional online infrastructure tho. Maybe in another 10 years.

Where it’s at.
This isn’t going to help them, since the CMA already said they aren’t looking for behavioural remedies.

If that’s the best MS could come up with, the plug is being pulled later today.

The fact that no deal was mentioned with Sony kinda hurts the theory that Playstation flew to Seattle to surrender and strike a deal.

Edit: According to Idas and Mlex, Sony and MS were in some kind of talks, though Sony being OK eith and backing off thanks to some kind of licensing deal is unlikely.

I’ve read on the purple forum most people saying MS are “giving” COD to Nintendo without wanting anything in return… yeah people really believe that!

Why are we gamers so stupid?
Tweet is gone now but they got extremely pissed off over something Geoff Keighley said regarding the deal.

This contract means jack and shit. The CMA has already said Nintendo is not part of the competition. It's all about services and what you just served right now Brad Smith, is a nothing burger.

Nintendo must have been sure, why should we care?

I wonder if MS required some sort of Xbox login or something in "exchange"?
