As a whole. This is just one instance. SIE's marketing is known to be dogshit for a while now, with its current head being a stiff non-entity.
Take for example the LeBron console. Sure LeQuit can sell consoles for a particular target market but there are gaming influencers out there with a much more curated, targeted market pull, much cheaper too. Going for LA sports stars is the most shoed in shit you can think off. Tick the box, freshman class marketing 101 type of initiative.

They sabotaged sega since the dreamcast. With that bullshit windows OS. That let everyone bootleg their games. The original Xbox was a sega device rebranded. 100%.
Over years MS sent execs over at Sega. Just like they sent execs at Blizzard. And leak the sex cases to press. MS have already dismantled sega. Sega already sold their offices. Sega has been broken up.

Shu was demoted right after Andrew House left. His indie role doesn't even compare to the power Herm,en has as Head of PlayStation Studios.
Layden was much better than what we have today but already a step down.
He wasn't demoted? It was his choice as he was actually considering retiring until VR came about... And that's what he wanted to focus on along with Indies... HENCE Jim built a entire division around him. He reports to Jim Ryan by the way not Hermen.

This is the smoking gun in FTC and CMA’s case against Microsoft. Everything we’ve been saying about MS trying to gobble up the industry was right all along. Anyone denying MS’ true intentions at this point is being either delusional or a shill. Him being demoted is a fact, if it was self imposed or a choice it's a different matter. Unlikely to be the case regardless of what he says publicly.
