It never gets old reading Xbox fanatics comparing the acquisition of one studio (that did position themselves as a publisher) that owns 1 recognisable IP, plus a bunch of smaller studios, some of them working on their first IP, with ABKs acquisition, which would transfer many studios and recognisable IP to their brand. It's like comparing the Earth and Jupiter and saying both are the same because they're both planets.

Not if investors vote against. The cut off date is the 28th of July if memory serves me right, and any extensions have to go through shareholder approval. Considering Xboxs tanking sales and Activision's leadership, I seriously doubt shareholders on both ends will approve the extension.
