Man, they really have banned anyone who has a dissenting opinion from the ree thread. It's one big "Microsoft good, Sony bad" circle jerk. Don't think I'll bother checking it out further until the ultimate decision arrives. I can't handle anymore of their terrible takes.
It’s ridiculous. I was banned for saying MS had monopolistic tendencies yet people saying Sony has a monopoly are not banned.

This unbelievable. How do you get from needing to sell Activision and now getting to this stance???
At this point just discard of all Antitrust authorities in Europe and North America. There is no point for keeping them afloat if they will approve any business deals for the biggest corporations on the world. This frauds would probably also allow Microsoft to buy EA. Honestly I don’t care, the world is filled with corruption.

Doesn’t matter either way. This will be one of the worst investments MS will ever make. It’s going to blow on their face. Like some a saying, play stupid games, get stupid results.

They have been dumping billions at a loss for decades, do you think they care how bad the investment is?

Seems like my assessment was wrong. Good on Microsoft and a loss for gamers that will now either be forced to not play some of their favourite games or buy into a dying ecosystem.

This is just the beginning, they will soon (12 months ISH) acquire more. Now it's fair game.

Oh it's only begun. Assuming FTC want to still fight.
I doubt they will, right now, there’s a perfect example of big American tech companies lobbying to ban foreign competition - TikTok

Now all we have to do is play games and hope things do not get worse, because the gaming industry now has a big sign saying “everything for sale”
