The deal will remain dead regardless of what the EU rules.
Yeah, but it would be annoying if the EU approves. It would embolden that side to keep arguing and shilling for this deal for yet ANOTHER YEAR when there was a chance to make this end.

What this mean? That deal is more dead deadier than dead?
It means that if the EC approves, MS will fight tooth and nail against the CMA, making them lose money, time and gaming relevance, since they're forgetting about XGS and focusing solely on the acquisition. They'll lose years of valuable time fighting for a doomed deal, because, it doesn't matter what they do, the CMA won't budge.
