They could axe campaigns and no one would honestly give a shit. And this is what’s allowed them to release this.

They tried it with blackout… and it worked… seeing how it debuted CoD BR and now that’s their bottom line for the IP.

It won’t do well. Already shady they’re tracking MW2/MW3/Warzone 2 as one one game when it’s not. You may not be able to track how the arena game is doing vs its f2p br portion with publicly available trackers.

Sorry but I can't take the complaints of people who preordered seriously

Y'all are doing it to yourselves by continuing to fund this madness.

I stopped giving that company money after Diablo 3/the announcement of Diablo Immortal. If y'all kept buying the games, you have no one to blame but yourselves.

Heard this campaign doesn't even have big moment set pieces which is crazy. Set pieces are staples of COD campaign. Lol.

That has been an issue with CoD for a very long time now 🤷.

What I wonder is are the ennemies still respawning all the time to keep you on your toe? This is the reason I never played ANY CoD more than a few minutes.

Where it’s at.
Exactly! It's not like the campaign bar is that high but when you initially hear the game is going to be dlc and then the company says they instead are going to release a whole game but see this shortened campaign, it makes you do a double take and think "are they ripping me off" and it seems that might be the case. We don't pay a now more expensive $70 to get less or at least we shouldn't!!! That is the point.

BTW sone COD games in the past have had some solid campaigns.
If you think MAYBE this is a rip-off, you’re not thinking hard enough, and if you didn’t see this pattern forming over the last five years, you just haven’t paid attention.

Until Sony decides to fund a modern military arcade FPS on their platform COD can continue to fuck up their games and their audience will have no viable alternative. You can't steal players from something if you don't have the game for them to go to.

They should be letting First Contact develop a Firewall Zero Hour for PS5 with a solid old school COD campaign and a couple of maps. they should start somewhere since they know having COD on Playstation is on a timer.

This is nothing new so why are people disappointed in the length their campaigns have always been quick to beat in under 4 hours. Even playing on a harder difficulty.

Most shooter campaigns are 8-10 hours. Weren’t recent CoD campaigns? I saw comments that they were.

A lot of criticisms I passed bt are that’s not a traditional CoD campaign either but spec ops missions or whatever that means.

Dunno. I used to buy CoD like every 3-4 years … can’t say I ever launched any campaign. Honestly, I think the only one I played was CoD 2. … oh jeez that was like 20 years ago 🤣

Is it just me, or have MANY COD players over the years proclaimed they only buy the games for multiplayer? Should this not be an issue at all?
