MS not wanting to breakdown Starfield numbers. Did you buy it or just used GP?

If Starfield can't even break 2 million first week it is pretty pathetic
Even two digits increase on GP subscribers is not telling much. I can see many people just getting a 1 month subscription to play the game.

Given that with this GamePass model we will have almost no transparency, it fits perfectly in Microsofts messaging. They will for sure talk about that the GP subscribers increased but nobody will know if people subscribed for another year, or just a month, which makes a crucial difference.
I can see Microsoft announcing a new GP subscriber record to make it sound like their model works perfectly. It just fits so percetly with their marketing until now.
"Fallout in space" as a description was enough for me to avoid it. Wouldn't play it if they paid me.
I'll play the vanilla version on game pass then build a new rig down the line once the complete edition releases and there's plenty of mods.

Yes, it's their nature. People will sub for a month or two then drop off like flues. If the increase wasnt in perpetuity it means shit! Even with tht I don't think their sub service brought in much from Starfeild but who knows.
