Seems that they did some work on a scifi game just before the first Uncharted, maybe only preproduction/pitching/prototyping, but got cancelled:

I don't think they will make a TLOU3, fanbase was already cut to half with part 2. Also honestly and personaly speaking it's becoming tiresome and ND need to do something completely new, like they used to.
I hope it's something entirely new.

Yes, LOU3 is definitely a given, but perhaps not yet. Savage Starlight will be what Starfield wish it could be.....And it will be GOTY. Remember, Naughty has been working on this new IP for a while now.
Posted this many times.... but something based on the concepts in Inception..... entering dreams and changing peoples thoughts to influence the real world.

Kind of thrilled same dude who plays the older version in that film is playing Mike Tyson in Biopic on Hulu.
I still want to see something as close to this as possible from Naughty Dog so I chose the Medieval RPG option. Might not be Jak & Daxter, but would be fantasy-based, maybe some bits of sci-fi in there, and something really vibrant which they haven't done in ages.
You can still have the grit & grime maturity in there as well.
This would also be extremely cool to see TBH. Maybe even more than the Medieval RPG rumored. And it wouldn't be too jarring a shift from what they've already built up with the Uncharted and TLOU games.
Hell I might change my vote to Savage Starlight.

People are just lucky I'm not a writer at ND. I would go all in on the haters and Joel's widows.
TLoU Pt3 would open with a flashback where we play as Joel in the early days, then we would find out he was bisexual, we would have a sex scene with another guy that look like Neil Druckmann.
I would also add a line that would make it cannon that Joel was taking steroids all along, just like Abby.
