In the west, the only audience that would make ports worthwhile for most of MS’ game catalog is PS4. The Switch demographic doesn’t overlap much in interests with the Xbox demo.

The minute MS spent 70billion to make games for their platform with 20something million units sold (and falling sales)... Their forced themselves into looking for other revenue streams for these games, I didn't run the math, but that seems clear enough.
The thing Xbox die hards don’t understand is that MS’s biggest IPs now have their own console as the smallest userbase, generating the least amount of revenue on them.
But at least we are reaching the point of no return, of Xbox social media fanboys realizing that MS pr is nothing but smoke and mirrors, and they will get left behind when it suits their overlords. People were acting like these Xbox execs were their friends.
