I don't think you understand; I'm not saying the individual product is meant to appeal to a wider audience.. but to a different audience.. because if you are a company putting out 6 things all for men they are competing against each other.. well if you put out a couple things for women, you now have a company selling to more people.
For someone like HBO Max to try that makes even more sense, because while the 'product' is the individual movie, the real product is a subscription service they were trying to widen the appeal of. WBD has officially "given up" on that, basically.. they put right in a slide that HBO Max's focus would be a "male skew."

Out of the 3 of the people in this conversation right now, neither of us are the ones banned elsewhere for trolling, so this is also a bit weird.
