Because it’s obvious. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Gay people are going to be more and more prevalent overtime on entertainment. The boys is the most woke show there is and it’s very successful. It mocks alt right, virtue signaling and almost every character is queer.
Spider man and TLOU Sony games are the most successful and have lgbt characters
Oh, and Loki of GoW and Ragnarok is queer.

Your misconception is that people are actually against "insert sexual preference/gender here".
People are getting tired of the agenda being pushed, just because they choose to not express this "or they will have their lives and or livelihood ruined" doesn't mean they think it's fine to identify as a doorknob now.
My best friend is Bi, she read Sandman and thought it was insane what they did with Constantine and Lucifer. I was betting her that Lucifer would be a woman and she kept screaming "but why!? There is no reason for this!!" while I LMAO.
We stopped watching it there.
Super hero content comes from comic nerdery and it is consumed by a greater portion of men.
The industry didn't try to shoe-horn women into super hero lead roles for "wokeness" though... it's just business... an attempt to make your content have a wider appeal.. "what if we can get women to watch this stuff too?" Marvel has had the most success... but honestly the whole DC "world" has been grimdark.. and while lots of women like that stuff.. it does appeal to more of a male audience. That's just been HBO's brand in general w/ Sex and the City really being the rare exception.
Same with anything else.. calling it "wokeness" is rather absurd.. these companies are run by Wall Street. There is no "Agenda" only $$$

I totally disagree with this. Shows like She-Hulk (based on the marketing I've seen), and films like Ghostbusters and Charlie's Angel have gone too far and as a result have a narrower appeal due to how strongly they've gone out to promote femininity, and denigrate masculinity. Not good films, and which also cut their own legs and ending up bombing.
Constantine I did not like too but Lucifer was masterfully choose… the role fits so well with an tall fallen angel that I could not see it being better ported.
She was one of the best cast in the show and I can’t see how it will be in the next season where Lucifer takes a main role.
BTW Neil Gaiman contacted her for the rola so he was already sure what he wanted.

The most successful tv shows recently are filled with LGBT and black characters. There’s no pushback happening.
It's just a statement for the state of society in general today. As a United States citizen we have freedom of speech, however since everything has become so corporatized that freedom of speech is nearly non-existent now as the private sector is basically every facet of society where that right does not apply.
It's absolutely propaganda, and it's a total lack of diversity. What Nexus mods is doing here is a complete contradiction of their own statements. They have an ideal and belief they are personally pushing which is why a mod like this was eradicated from their website.
'Diversity' these days is just go along with what we want, what we think, what we believe or kick the curb.

Diversity is allowing everything to coexist equally whether good or bad. Also good or bad is a human perspective based upon a wide range of experiences and morality which is completely independent per person.
Most people wouldn't know what true diversity is if it knocked them in the head. A mod like this being removed is a simple case of I'm right you're wrong and I don't care what you believe. That's the antithesis of diversity.
Combating people who don't want diversity at all, is in itself.. anti-diverse!
