Introducing Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo, an interactive alarm clock that’s out of the ordinary! Alarmo responds to your body’s movement with game sounds, so you can feel like you’re waking up in the game world itself. Set an alarm inspired by five Nintendo games, with more alarms on the way as free updates as they become available.

Here's hoping someone eventually hacks this thing so that you can play older NES, SNES, GBA and N64 games in the Nintendo Alarm clock.

I can’t even rely on the iPhone’s stock alarm sounds anymore. It’s like my brain is immune to it after 15 years of hearing the same tunes.

I’d like to give this a shot if it doesn’t remain out of stock forever like a lot of their novelty products.

I don't hate it. Not for me, of course, but I have younger members in the family who'd love it.

Actually, I'm much more interested in the technology and how it could be leveraged for games. It'd be cool if Nintendo could repurpose the tech into subwoofer (in design)-like motion detector modules you can arrange in a mesh network within a room space, to track player movement, movement velocity etc. for VR or AR games.

Or maybe with a new line of Amiibos and future iterations of things like that Mario Kart MR kit they made for Switch a year or two ago (where you have actual Mario Kart models set up on a track in your living room you'd then control with your Switch, getting a video feed from the kart toy on the screen with virtual elements processed in as you played).

The potential for the tech when you consider other things they've done is actually quite fascinating & exciting. But we'll have to wait a little while to see how that materializes; I mean, they haven't even revealed the Switch 2 yet!

Such a stark difference from PS honestly wish PS did more things like this that’s quirky.

PS want to reach a kid audience but not making toys/merch or these quirky interactive devices for existing fans & potential new. Instead PS idea of reaching a kid audience is putting there first party games that there first party studio spend time on Nintendo making Nintendo the defacto platform for kid/universal type games.

Where tf is the Patapon clock?
The GOW kitchen utensils?

Gran Turismo merch/cars (Sony/PS should be using the Gran Turismo name for there car ambitions) oh you got the Sony car? Yeah it’s called the afeela, which is such a bad name. Instead it could be oh you got the Sony car? Yeah I got the Gran Turismo Coupe/Sedan/Suv or use numbers like Gran Turismo 350 (Sedan), Gran Turismo 750 (SUV), Gran Turismo 950 (Hyper car) GT is such a great name for a car & it takes from the game expanding the Gran Turismo ip beyond gaming & into the real world

Sony done some decent marketing for PS4. They have some great studios giving them results now, the rest… they can do alot alot better and are all over the place. Communication, merch, advertisement has alot to be desired. Nintendo keeping their fans alot more happy

No new games, just remakes and remasters and gender swaps...and an alarm clock

They did release Pikmin 4, Zelda TOTK, Mario Wonder, Mario and Luigi, Fire Emblem Engage, Beyonetta prequel, Princess Peach and Legend of Zelda Echoes since 2023. Not including remasters and remakes.

If Switch 2 released this November it would of been fine. Its not a final year like TLOU2, GOT, Nioh 2, FF7 remake, Dreams etc but I dont really expect them to release anything more till Switch 2

The only thing remotely interesting about this is that it appears as if Nintendo's development teams have been at least partially reorganized or at least renamed.
