Thanks for the posts guys.
Top choices right now are 8bitdo Pro 2 or ultimate, xbox controller
Reason I dont want to use a dual sense. Ill be using it for PS5 and testing stuff.
And the last 2 times I saw it try to connect to capcom games it took like 20minutes for VS mode, so I dont want any complications. Simple, plug in install once and play. Worse comes I can use the dual sense as a secondary controller but dont want to it as my main.
That shouldn't happen at all, Steaminput crosses it over to xinput, there should never be a delay like that
The Dualsense is plug and play so not sure what is wrong with your PC configuration
Surprised anyone is really suggesting anything else tbh
Because via Bluetooth it doesn’t work most of the features… adaptive triggers, hapic feedback, rumble (via BT is just a fake emulation).
Of course there are exceptions… like Somy games you can disable Steam Input and use the native Bluetooth support of the game that will make everything works flawless.
But only Sony games do that I believe.
All others games you will be better wired… via Bluetooth it will works like a Dual Shock 4.
Edit - The issues using Bluetooth.
Except in Somy games where the BT connection is implemented in the game itself (remember to disable the Steam Imput)… in others games basically nothing will works.
I mean, none of this is relevant, and they key word is "may" not work, all the buttons do in fact work, so this is not even true, did you test the controller functions on PC?
Touchpad works, in Steam or DS4windows you can map it to whatever you want. By default it is left/right for share/options on press
What are you going to be using the microphone for when using a Xinput game on Steam? The games themselves won't have any use for it anyway, who uses the Dualsense mic on PC? Odd
The other stuff is not even true, the "create" button can be mapped to whatever you want, you can even map it to F12 in steam to take screenshots or whatever you want to use for screenshots, by default it acts as a "select" button like older games use
