Pearl Abyss aims to launch Crimson Desert in 2025
• 50-80 hrs single-player campaign with a "definitive ending"
.• Multiplayer Mode will be released after launch

Crimson Desert is sticking to its expected 2025 release window, and will get a multiplayer mode after launch. It will also be about 50-80 hours in length in single-player with a "definitive ending".

This all comes from English translations of a briefing that developer Pearl Abyss held with investors in September. Here, the studio outlines some more details about its upcoming open-world RPG, including its plans for post-launch support.

While the original coverage of the meeting has since been made private, it was backed up and translated on both Reddit and ResetEra. Here, we have an overview of what was discussed, including the release window.

Screw these guys, they threw PlayStation under the bus to get positive vibes from the internet discourse which is controlled by the purple forum. Now suddenly everyone is looking forward to the game. The message is clear, diss PlayStation and the gaming media will be good to you.

Yeah, I'm still a bit on the fence about how to feel about this one.

I'm not really an MMO player, so I don't have a good sense of BDO, or the studio's previous work.

The trailers certainly portray a very pretty game, but I'm definitely hoping to see the reviews roll in for it.

Unfortunate, especially with how many wacky things we've been shown to be able to do. I might just wait to buy the game and play with a friend down the line. Silver lining means we'll be playing the game with a bunch of patches that address the usual issues almost all releases have.

Although we'll just have to wait to see if they really release in 2025.

South Korea big development houses are notorious for delaying games multiple times even when one such delay is multiple years without much news. Smooth project management... Not even once.
