New deal, new process in some territories, not in others.I wonder if the other regulatory agencies (who already approved the old deal) will have to approve this one, as well.

They don't care. They have enough money to bleed until the competition is driven out of business. Which is the point of all these acquisitions and why they are anti-competitive and illegal, irrespective of what corrupt judges and regulators might say. They’ll look at the revenue Starfield made and realize not releasing on ps5 is dumb
Their share holders might. Phil sold Nadella a dream that didn't pan out. They missed all of their tatgets and projections by a large margin. Xbox has been on the chopping block several times now. More likely it will be Satya Nadella having a meeting with Phil to discuss his severance package and hand him a box for his personal effects before security escorts him off the Microsoft campus for the last time to “spend more time with his family”.Hypothetically, if sales of Starfield aren't meeting MS and Bethesda threshold then I could definitely see Pete Hines having talks with Phil Spencer bout the next Elder Scrolls being on PlayStation too. Bethesda is in uncharted water right now. Their newest AAA RPG launched day n date on a sub service. Lots of questions are gonna be brought up behind closed doors.
There won’t be Xbox to make it exclusive to by that point in time.Phil's the type of guy who'd piss on you and tell you it's raining. It's most certainly going to be exclusive to Xbox - they're just trying to ride the fence as long as they can to keep people's hopes up. As soon as it gets its first trailer, I'm 99% sure it'll be announced as Xbox exclusive.
Not only that, I can see Starfield being released in PS5 in a year or two after realizing that to make it exclusive didn't add substantial sales to Xbox hardware and didn't bump Game Pass numbers, meaning that to make it console exclusive only meant that MS left a ton of money on the table.Hypothetically, if sales of Starfield aren't meeting MS and Bethesda threshold then I could definitely see Pete Hines having talks with Phil Spencer bout the next Elder Scrolls being on PlayStation too. How can anything he say be trusted in court… Isn’t it illegal to lie in court? Clearly this information was emailed before the courtSo this was a lie, obviously.
The Elder Scrolls VI will skip PS5 and isn’t coming until at least 2026
Not exactly surprising.www.theverge.com
Did you really believe Elder Scrolls 6 was coming to PlayStation? Lol. Phil just used a diplomatic answer because ES6 is 5 years away and will likely launch for next gen consolesHow can anything he say be trusted in court… Isn’t it illegal to lie in court?
