Do you really think games Little Big Planet, Dreams, Gran Turismo 7, MLB or Destiny are putrid kid games? They are GaaS games.

Speaking of Dreams, I really should pick that up now. It's pretty cheap as-new, and I should try messing with it before they do some massive content or feature expansion.

May be the only way I realistically get to make a game.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Insomniac releases Spider-Man 2 before Hellblade 2 releases.

By the way, since Hellblade 2 was first announced, Sony has announced and released Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, Returnal, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7, three MLB games, Sackboy, Astrobot, Destruction All Stars.

And they are all set to add God of War Ragnarok, TLOU Part 1, and two unannounced live-service games that Jim Ryan confirmed in the earning call to that list now.

At least 16 PS Studios games would be be released between Hellbade 2's announcement and release! Damn. This demands a new thread.

You don't have to stop with just Hellblade II; you could throw Fable, Everwild, Perfect Dark, Project Mara and State of Decay 3 in there too and it would still look crazy good for the productivity of Sony's teams considering what they've been putting out the past two years while also dealing with COVID-affected work constraints.

I get MS's intention with showing those games in 2019/2020, but it just isn't working out for them. Sony got away with it in 2015/2016 because they were already bringing out games and XBO was essentially dead in terms of mindshare (or on its way, outside of stuff like Rise of the Tomb Raider and Quantum Break, neither of which did much for the platform).

MS hasn't had that same level of releases to build similar rapport with most gamers, that's why the far-off release dates and lack of updates on some of those games (well, good updates) brings so much criticism and questioning from everyone but the most diehard of their fanbase.
