If there is going to be an event aroubd or on the 30th Anniversary of Playstation I think we need to be realistic in what will be shown.
Here are my predictions on a theoretical PS showcase/ State of Play for the 30th Anniversary would look like:
Bloodborne Kart
LittleBogPlanet sounds like an Irish version of LBPIf there is going to be an event aroubd or on the 30th Anniversary of Playstation I think we need to be realistic in what will be shown.
Here are my predictions on a theoretical PS showcase/ State of Play for the 30th Anniversary would look like:
GTA VI trailer 2- out now on PS5 pro only
RE4 Remake Remake
Legend of Dragoon 2
Legend of Dragoon 3
Ghost of Yotei canned
Ghost of Tsushima 2 X Devil May Cry announced for January 2025
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale 2
LittleBogPlanet 4
Dreams 2
Final Fantasy VIII remake
Final Fantasy X and X2 Remake
Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 out today
The Last of Us Part 3
Uncharted 5
Uncharted Golfing
Bloodborne Kart
And to end the show:
Grand Theft Auto VII
I don't think there is any evidence that the Game Awards helps grow platforms. Organic marketing seems a much better sell here. PS fans see games that they enjoy in a showcase dedicated to them and they talk to others about it. Not saying the game awards has no place, but not sure it's the avenue you think it is.
Always is a strong word.
It's possible but I don't think the company would go in two different directions here. The Platform business group already celebrated with the anniversary editions that were not limited to japan and there is already historic precedence that the game awards don't mean they won't do anything.
