PS Stars will no longer give points for money spent on subscriptions

Damn, that's messed up. The program is pretty much useless then to many.
Edit: just checked and I'm only seeing the $10 PSN wallet funds option. That's. Very nasty of Sony if this isn't a glitch.

I don't see any funds at all... Just in game credit for some games and then expansions and full games.
Of so, stars is pretty much pointless for me.
This is true but it's old news. The terms of service with this stipulation were updated today.

Did they really do this!? I checked my points like 3 nights ago to check if I close to another $20 card (to get REmake 4 on sale). I was just shy like 70 pts from the 5k total….
And then they remove the psn store cards the next day. Man… what a bummer. This is how I got all the REmakes … on flash sale with point card stars rewards.
That was the best thing about this program. They should’ve improved interface into console OS etc…. Now it’s worthless again… who cares about those digital trophies you can’t display anywhere lol.
They fucked it all up huh. Sony must be wanting cash. I guess it’s why their stock split too tbh.

If your getting points on stars you are more encouraged to buy digital, and sony take a much bigger cut on digital purchases.

People pay for ps plus sub every once and a while, so Sony aren't exactly gonna me making much of a saving by stopping this.

This is ridiculous lol. PS+ is still a purchase through their store front but a lot of users have wised up and stopped stacking, so I guess this is their way of punishing people who sub only when they drop good content or have a game they really wanna play online.
Not officially - some redditors say they contacted support and have been told it's a glitch and plenty of countries/users have options to redeem points for PSN credit. I've lost mine but will wait and see.
