I've been assuming he's a kid for a few days now...What is this thread. Op we all knew you were insane, but to show out in the open like this is...well
Here (Denmark) it's even worse... It's 25 %. So I paid like $937 (6390 DKK) for my PS5 Pro and there's still the Blu-Ray disc drive and the stand which would then SO FAR make the price be $1112. But I could save some money by waiting for the Black Friday etc. sales and that might make be $1067 or less.Poland 3499pln

edit: That's all with vat tax. We don't have ability to buy without vat. Shit is like 20% here
Without the extra 25 % so is it 4792.5 DKK which is about $703.

The way you think about price is not how the average joe in the real world operates.
I think here it's 310 OMR ($806 USD) without tax, then add 5% VAT so around $846.3, could be less. Still not available for purchase/preorder in my country but judging by neighboring countries.

I think you're missing my point, which is that your individual countries are the reason you're paying so much more for the PS5 Pro. You pay higher taxes and that comes with trade offs.
I know, but people won't think about that, they will think about the price they see in the shop.
People don't about a product price without taxes on products.

There are a mountain of reasons other than simple corporate greed that result in prices being different region to region, but putting out facts that don't jive with your bias must be shilling.
At the end of the day the tax rates are one of the biggest reasons for differences this topic was to highlight that, but it's not limited to that. You have the cost of operating in a smaller markets, which may include increased cost of transportation or even different costs to import.
Most are their products are pretty much directly in line with the base unit costs but there are exceptions. Exceptions like the disc drives should be investigated, but the first reaction shouldn't be "GREEEEEEED"

Reading is your friend. I think everyone is aware that the PS5 Disc drive is more expensive in the UK and EU than it is in the US VAT aside and I explained to you that should be investigated, but the reality is you don't know why it is more expensive and neither do I.

If you deduct 25% VAT from 799 you get 639 euro. That's 699 freedom units

For example, confectionery products have a VAT rate of 8%, but wheat products have a VAT rate of 5%. Now, when you are selling a donut, which one is It? I dont know, you dont know, and they dont know either, so It causes a bureaucratic nightmare.
And about the healthcare. No one uses it in Poland, because you have to wait months (or even years!) for an appointment. If you need help right now, which most of the time is the case, you just go private and pay the "murica" prices anyways. It's all a scam. Governemnt funded trash cannot work by definition, because there's no competition. No incentive to try and work harder and better, when you know you cannot loose, because you are funded from above.
That's how vat works everywhere in the EU.
