I was saying separately Sony should probably go for CDPR, it would make sense and is a Bungie size acquisition but now that the Lumberjack has said this I doubt it will come true.

It might happen. Valorization of most conpanies are down.
Especially in europe.

But CDPR is not just the studio. They also publish games in Poland, and they own GOG that is a money sink.

Well...as you know I am an outsider, not an insider like Lumberjackman!

But if Sony had longterm ambitions on PC, it might be a good platform to start from... I think it has a much smaller userbase than Steam but quite passionate.
It all depends on Sony but they could always spin it off or sell just the GOG part too.

After the ABK acquisition by Microsoft, I realized that majority of studios and/or publishers that fans want (including myself) have a slim to no chance of happening.
