Could be.
Especially SH The Short Message getting Rated, the annoucement should be soon.

Also we still don't have the full list of launch games for PSVR2. So we should see it there.

I think we have the 30+ launch games list, at least someone wrote this:
2MD VR Football (70% discount for owners of prior game)
After The Fall (crossbuy)
Altair Breaker
Among Us VR
Cities VR
Cosmonius High
The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR
Demeo
DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate
Engram
Fantavision 202X
Gran Turismo 7 (Crossbuy)
Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue (Crossbuy)
Horizon: Call of the Mountain
Kayak VR: Mirage
Kizuna AI
The Light Brigade (Crossbuy)
Moss Book 1 (no crossbuy)
Moss Book 2 (no crossbuy)
No Man's Sky (crossbuy)
Pistol Whip (crossbuy)
Resident Evil VIII: Village (Crossbuy)
Runner
Song in the Smoke: Rekindled (possibly crossbuy)
Startenders (crossbuy)
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge - Enhanced Edition
Swordsman VR
Synthriders
The Tale of Onogoro (crossbuy)
Tentacular
Undead Citadel
Zenith: The Last City (crossbuy)

But yes, a dedicated PSVR2 State of Play to show all of them even if it's in a sizzle would be great. I think more RE4R footage and Silent Hill The Short Message should be relatively soon, and I'm not sure but I'd bet that in both recent RE and SH steamings they mentioned that were going to share more early this year, not sure if even mentioned there to have another dedicated stream for these brands.

Street Fighter has its Capcom Cup on late February so I assume they'll save any big SF6 news (as could be an open beta in all platforms or the annouincement of new characters) for Capcom Cup since Capcom often announces stuff after the finals of their main eSports events.

If Wolverine's a H1 2024 game, then Sony must have some really big gun ready for H2 2024 that hasn't been revealed yet.
I see Wolverine, TLOU Online, Bungie's new IP, Firewalk's new IP and the next Team Asobi game being the main first party 2024 games. Also, Spider-Man 2 is a fall game so I highly doubt they'd release Wolverine in H1 2024, I see it being released in H2 to avoid overlap between the Insomniac games.

Assuming that would be MGS Remake, I personally don't think MGS Remake would be a bigger H2 2024 game than Wolverine. But there might be a really good chance both of them release 2024.
I'd believe the MGS3 being remade (or remastered) by a Chinese outsourcing studio, but not MGS being remade by Bluepoint. In any case, Konami invested a lot of money on many Silent Hill games and looking at what they said at the event and The Short Message being rated I assume they have more SH stuff in the works to announce.

Having spent all that money on SH I assume they don't have more to be spending on MGS, and I assume they'll want to keep their attention on SH.

Are we sure Bluepoint are working on MGS 1 Remake? Maybe they have multiple projects concurrently. I've mostly heard that they may be working on an original IP, but I'd like it to be both. They're one of the few teams that can really be trusted fully with remakes of classic games.

I'm curious if Sony are working with Konami on any other IP outside of Silent Hill and MGS. Castlevania is probably a good shoe-in, though what teams would Sony & Konami have between them to take on that franchise? I almost think a Bloodborne sequel would be a better option, as Sony own the IP themselves and would work with From Software to develop it. From Software would be a natural go-to for a Castlevania game but would they even want to work with an IP that isn't theirs or that of Kadokawa's or Sony's?

I mean, I could see Konami themselves working with From Software on a Castlevania game, but I'd imagine that would be a multiplatform game with at most some timed exclusivity on Playstation depending on if Sony worked out a deal. Or, if a case From Software were working on a new Bloodborne and Castlevania simultaneously, Sony would probably just prioritize a Bloodborne 2 and possibly not care if, say, Microsoft got a marketing deal for a Castlevania.

Though I think the probability of that would be low.

We are sure that Bluepoint is not working in any remake. They are working on "original content". So no, they are not working on a MGS.

We are also sure that Sony, and not Konami, is the one who bought Bluepoint.

As far as we know, Sony is not working with Konami in anything. They only got a (timed? console?) exclusive of the SH2 remake, and maybe also a (timed? console?) exclusive from whatever is The Short Message (which could only be a PT-like demo of one of the announced games).

I think that something likely that they could do is to add PS1/PS2/PSP/PS3 Konami classics to PS Plus and PS4+PS5 BC store. But I don't see Sony developing games for Konami, THQ or Falcom IPs.
