Xbox done damage to themselves with the COD Game Pass situation. They're damned if you do damned if you don't. They put COD on Game Pass then they are killing their own revenue that they would be getting from the game if it was sold using the traditional model of no day n date. If they don't put COD day n date then they're going to hear it from their base in which they were selling the pitch of 1st party day n date Game Pass. I also think that it doesn't matter if Xbox put COD on a higher tier of Game Pass, no amount of price hike for new tiers of Game Pass is going to recoup them the sheer amount of revenue that they are going to lose with COD day n date on Game Pass.

Won’t they also be getting revenue from PS sales? It’s still going to be on PS. Also COD makes most of its revenue from micro transactions.
