The Group recorded an extraordinary loss of approximately ¥5.9 billion in the second quarter for the fiscal year due to the sale of overseas development studio, Amplitude Studios SAS through a management buyout.

French developer, Amplitude Studios, has parted ways with Sega, and returned to being an indie developer.

Announcement comes via Sega's Q2 FY Earnings Report.
