The people who would say that also said second-party games don’t count as PS5 exclusives. It doesn't matter.
What’s the point of PS doing these time exclusive with 3rd party if they don’t even own the ip & they eventually get ported to PC or direct competitors platform (not that it really matters since PS doesn’t have exclusive games anyways, but I just question the short sighted strategy) seems like Nintendo are the only ones to double & triple down on Nintendo exclusive & there studios/ips.
Wasted money & wasted time.
Better of investing in there existing studio & making them multi team like insomniac so we see studios like Naughty Dog, Guerilla Games & Santa Monica release games ever 2 years.
Sega is going to annualize Sonic which imo makes sense & because it’s a platform won’t be to bad if they remain quality like the recent Sonic games. PS should be doing the same for Ratchet & Clank whether it’s a mainline 3D platform, a R&C Mario like platformer, a pixel art turn base Ratchet & Clank game like the Disney pixel RPG or Final Fantasy tactics it shows a lack of investment & drive to do more with there ips. We already notice the lack of exclusive games & it will be more noticeable in the PS6 gen especially when Nintendo releases the Switch 2 & Nintendo releases a minimum of 5 sometime hitting near 10 Nintendo games per year.

It does, but it doesn't matter. A great game is a great game. Though this great game has kicked my ass so far.
It's not "second-party" if Sony has no say about a PC port, like it seems to be. And the IP belongs to Shift Up.
