Japanese streamer 2BRO. live streamed 90 minutes of gameplay of the Bloober Team-developed Silent Hill 2 remake from the beginning of the game on YouTube today.

I watched a short gameplay clip a few weeks ago on my PC; it looked rather crappy.

I watched another stream of another demo on my TV, and I thought it looked amazing.

Maybe some compression issues or something?

Saying that, the i agree with the character movements, sometimes they feel like they glide or float with slightly awkward angles?

I wasn't going to pre-order it, but recent videos of the game make me think the remake will be good.

I am noticing hair looks kinda bad. Aliased and dithered. And the guy seems to have dlss on.
And there is no fog in the puddles reflections. looks weird seeing clear reflection in a foggy city street

Yeah I am too inching towards a purchase, As loath I am to support bloober but Silent hill is one of my favorite IP's. Listening to Yamaoka's soundtrack with unreal 5 visuals is going to be hard to not want. If this game scores anywhere north of 85 then holy moly bloobers reputation will take a turn for the good.
