Well Genshin is the better ARPG , zenless was just meh for me. Honestly I even prefer HSR over zenless

Wukong is legit 96 percent on steam. It's funny how folks are omitting that number which is arguably the ONLY number that matters and should be accounted for. People are using the Metascore because it's the 'lowest' score to support their argument of 'mid game is mid' when in reality it's a juggernaut that is being ostracized by 'urinalists' because they aren't pushing the Marxist-rainbow-mafia agenda. This is a classic example of shifting the goal-post. The game has the wrong racial demographic to be considered legitimate? Say what you said again out loud and slowly, then do it a few more times and come back, maybe with a football helmet on.

The game is ass, sorry to say that. The hits with his staff don't feel impactful, the chip damage isn't gratifying, a lot of the bosses have stupid slow to near frozen movement before unleashing a super fast attack, the abilities feel meh, the skill system is completely bloated, there is little reason to have 100+ skill levels. Plus it is clear why Steam User reviews are 96… the same reason why over 80% of the sales come from the same place.
Users scores in a more fair place like PS Store is 88 (where the sales are not focused in the developer country) that socking is closer to Metacritic and OpenCritic.

In a similar case is like XboxEra giving review scores to Xbox first-party games…
Even Red Fall got 85 with the label AWESOME!
I think even without it the game would be >90% on steam, the game is quite good. It's just not as good as the user score would indicate. It also got a little bit of tailwinds from people lashing back at western media trying to witchhunt the dev studio
Yeah… it is a pretty good game.
Not on my GOTY but GOTY are for just few exceptional games imo.
Like I said PS Store has user scores at 4.44 that translate to 88 in a meta like scale.
PS. Using Steam for the first time to compare scores is imo weird.
well the game is worse on ps5 due to performance problems so it's a little lower than the game should be
Both steam and PSN are better metrics than meta critic. What actual users think is infinitely more important than Kotaku. Considering Wukong is still in the top 20 for daily best sellers charts on psn… It’s not just steam. Game is successful in the US as well.
