Yo I see all your points, that there are wannabe insiders. But Jeff and Geoff are much more different than a MBG or Klobrille. Jeff is a real Gaming industry journalist. He is known for his global and build up network. Maybe he said sometimes things not correctly, but as I follow him for long enough he always proven right. And Geoff K. would lose much more as Jeff. Because the man is the host of one of the biggest gaming events. That's clearly not their style to talk this big, if they weren't confident about it to happen.

I'm not the biggest fan of Jeff, but I'll admit his record is more hit than miss.

Organic growth refers mainly to increase the manpower of their existing teams by hiring, not acquiring. So any acquisition could be counted as inorganic. But in acquisitions organic refers to acquire teams who partnered with them for many years, as a next step of strenghtening their relationship (like getting married after many years of relationship).

Basically all Japanese 3rd party publishers or devs made game dozens of exclusives for Sony since the PS1. Square Enix, Capcom, Bandai Namco, Kadokawa, From Software etc. So to acquire them could count both as organic or inorganic.

They had a 3 years budget for investments and acquisitions for the whole Sony but spent most of it and there was under $7B (we should remove whatever costed Haven and Lasengle) remaining to spend until March of next year. But when announcing the report of the previous fiscal year and explaining plans for the current and future ones, mentioned they increased that budget to $30B.

Meaning Sony (not only SIE) will make a lot -or huge- investments or acquisitions this fiscal year. This is enough money to buy Square Enix, Capcom, Kadokawa this year (they won't, I think they won't make more than a big acquisition at the same time) and leave a ton of money to spend this year in acquisitions for the other divisions, stock repurchases and investments.
The description is for a microsoft posting, not sony.

You mean this?

Careers.Microsoft.com

You remember when several and anonymous Japanese studio/publisher member (staff) talked about it that they were approached by Microsoft and asked if they join them, and they politely rejected them?

After that Phil Spencer talked to the press, in doing damage control for Microsoft, because they embarrassed themselves with this stupid try. Bro don’t worry, Microsoft will never get a Japanese publisher or Major studio. Think about don’t you think they never tried it? Money is not the problem, more the Japanese mentality doesn’t allow to let them be bought by an American company. If they could then they would already did so. If really someone buys the big Japanese publisher then Sony, Tencent or maybe Nintendo (some smaller publisher like Temco).

In this context inorganic means to go ask someone who at least typically doesn't publish their games on Xbox or doesn't put their games on Xbox to do it. Or who knows, maybe even to convince them to give MS some console exclusivity too.

It isn't related to acquisitions:

I may not have quoted it but in the description it mentions inorganic growth opportunities.
Yes, growth of Xbox or GP catalog, or growth of their amount of partnerships/deals with devs and publishers to publish games on XB/GP. The job of this team is to get signed games/devs/publishers for XB/GP, not to get signed merges and acquisitions. There's a separate team for that. This team basically manages the relationship between MS and the devs and publishers from Japan who publish games on XB/GP, and are in charge of bringing more on board.

Ah i see. Still frustrating Microsoft is trying make headway with japanese studios while sony seemingly twiddles their thumbs and closes theirs down.
