Either way, the mobile game is doubtful to have a big audience and they absolutely need to get working on D3.This contract with Netease was signed before Sony acquired Bungie.
I honestly don’t see what the issue is here and what relevance it has to Destiny 3.
This game is being developed by Netease with Bungie assistance.
Destiny 3 is not being developed because Bungie have their hands tied with Marathon and Destiny 2.

The fact that there’s a Destiny mobile games while the mainline continues to shrink is the reason a Destiny mobile game will flop. Why would Destiny fans or casuals care about a Destiny mobile game when it’s uncool to play Destiny & the franchise as a whole holds no future. What’s the issue here?

How does this have any bearing on Destiny 3?

Bungie should be all hands on deck on a Destiny 3 (PS & PC release) then when you make the community excited for Destiny that’s when you drop a Destiny mobile game. Also tying it to a Destiny tv show, movie, anime.
Wow this is a total misstep. All of tje AAA console games that came to mobile this year bombed.
