Guys this all because Jim Ryan cares only about Call of Duty. He still doesn’t want to prove Microsoft’s claim, that Sony could be successful without ABK IPs. That’s why he still chose to keep a low profile. Jimbo is still cautious until this deal is really dead. This is why I said Jim Ryan needs to step down as CEO. Even diehard PS Fanboys should expect already that this gentleman is a failure of CEO. That Remote Only Handheld is joke, I have seen by far better concepts made by fans. This is all Jim Ryan’s influence, yes this all his prestige. Jim Ryan needs to go, we need back a Japanese leader at the top of PlayStation. Enough with western guys leading a Japanese Gaming Company. All what western people do care about are profits, they lack the passion Japanese possess. One of my favourite studios (Japan Studio) got closed for the sake of profits. PlayStation chose a dark and stupid path with their pursuit of creating GaaS. I nearly forgot how awful the game made by Haven was, this will be a big flop. Haven was such a big misunderstanding to acquire.
Overall this PlayStation stream was more a State of Mid than proper showcase. This is not what represents the real PlayStation brand. PlayStation was created by passion and this is becoming less and less. But obviously some Jim Ryan fanboys will not accept and defend their idol lol. We need Shuhei Yoshida or Keiichiro Urata as CEO!

This thread is a bit of an overreaction. I rated the show a 4 but I'm confident in Sony's ability to deliver.
The showcase was more of what they did on gamescom, More artsy. Everyone can noticed stuff has been cut! I can confirm!
Also since they change everything, our marketing team is a bit lost. PS Twitter stopped having personality, the YouTube shows in several countries are now gone

I mean in terms of what shinobi and others have said it felt like that showcase they got stuff just to fill time is what that felt like?

Probably the next studio closure if this game is a big flop. To me it looks like total crash. Haven x PlayStation was bad idea of Hermen Hulst. He must have been smoking a Joint, when he thought this looks good lol.
We are going to get a bunch of Desctruction AllStart like flops our of these GaaS batch.
At least when a single player flops we get something like Days Gone or The Order.

I'm the one who majority here call an Xbot and even I don't believe that the showcase was anywhere near an Xbox One reveal event level disaster for one simple reason - Marvel's Spider Man 2. Come November when we're all playing it, not a single one of us is going to give a flying fuck about their disappointing and underwhelming showcase six months earlier.
Plus, 2024 - Stellar Blade (if it's not at Keighley's Summer Game Fest, I believe that it's been delayed to 2024), Rise of the Ronin, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from Square Enix and Marvel's Wolverine.
Sony could go another 20 months without a showcase and it isn't changing anything this generation in my opinion.

Bad writing is bad writing.
Nothing wrong with a good old anti capitalist narrative. Most Cyberpunk is. But this game just stinks of being written by somebody who sits on twitter 16 hours a day "chEAT the rich" has to be one of the cringiest lines I've seen in a game
