They would need to acquire the ip from Konami.

Unless they bought the SH ip then they would be able to dictate where the games release no need to buy Bloober unless you wanted them for cheap & to solely work on SH projects but even then they haven’t proven themselves

Wtf is this logic, Konami owns silent Hill IP. What will buying Bloober achieve, Its not like Konami is beholden to bloober and only bloober gets to make silent hill games

but why, tho? don't you want to have more AAA singleplayer studios? Bloober Team is dirt cheap for their talent and what they can offer
Bloober is a B tier AA studio, doesn't have AAA experience or pedigree to be at Sony's first party level.

From Software, Capcom or Remedy would be better alternatives.

Regarding pure horror games, Firesprite and Ballistic Moon hired most of the former Supermassive devs who worked in their best games like Until Dawn.

Regarding Silent Hill 2 and future Silent Hill games, Konami owns that IP and is the one what Silent Hills are made and who makes them. Not Bloober. Bloober was just the one hired by Konami and tasked to remake SH2. Bloober can't make Silent Hill games unless Konami hires them and asks them to do so.

How in the world does acquiring Bloober make Konami keep their Silent Hil franchise exclusive to PlayStation?

Make it make sense.

I don't think this would influence Konami's decisions. Also fun Fact: It was Bloober who urged Konami to release it same day on PC. Imo bring Toyama home a d this time give him a proper budget. Slitterhead wasn't bad at all it's just lacked some budget.
