Starfield is now the most wishlisted game on Steam

Starfield now turns out to be the most desired game on Steambased on the ranking visible directly on the Valve store and derived from the amount of individual users who have added the game to their “wish list”.

It should be noted that until a few days ago Sons of the Forest was in first place, but with the game that has just been released on Steam, Starfield has taken over the top of the ranking, which is therefore now the most included game in the wishlist by users of the platform, overall.

This is not surprising that much, considering the importance covered by the game in the panorama of 2023 and beyond, proving to be one of the most anticipated titles ever for some time.

At the moment, the top ten of the most desired games on Steam are the following:

1. Starfield
2. Dark and Darker
3. Party Animals
4. Hollow Knight: Silksong
5. Manor Lords
6. STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl
7. Frostpunk 2
8. ARK 2
9. Kerbal Space Program 2
10. The Last of Us Part I

There are some less predictable picks, such as Dark and Darker in second place and Party Animals in third, but several well-known titles appear in the top ten in question. It should also be noted that almost half of these have been announced as available on day one on Game Pass, which confirms how Steam users still prefer to purchase titles on this platform, despite the possibility of using them on another manner through the subscription.

Was always gonna do well on PC, people love to mod those and mess around in the worlds.

If Sony had been serious about expanding into the PC space, it was the perfect acquisition to make.... but they didn't and now they are trying to sell games that are built for a PlayStation audience to PC gamers and they are doing badly on there.

It's gonna sell more than most console exclusives on just PC alone. Outside of the very selective crowd dismissing Starfield here, because it's not on their preferred plastic box, the majority of gaming internet is very eagerly looking forward to it.

Depending on how good this looks graphically I’ll probably get this on GeForce now or stream it on Shadow. Still wish Star Citizen would come out on console and put this no man’s sky rip off out of its misery.

no duh, xbox being irrelevant means that starfield is esentially a PC exclusive. I imagine this game will do very well on PC.
