I do need to say I love seeing live service games bombing. The more they bomb, the better the industry will be

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has overcome a rough pre-launch time after multiple delays. While the objectives can feel repetitive the excellent gameplay never does. This review will be out of date after a month or two because this is a live-service assed live-service game. For fans of Destiny, The Division, and all the loot-focused games-as-a-service titles, this is a damned good one at launch. We'll see if they can continue to grow and improve it over time.

I am probably half way through the game.
Waiting for more reviews to come out and see if they align with my nit picks.
I will say though the gameplay loop itself is very fun, and the character models, especially the facial details are pretty damn nice.
Do I see this having the same amount of life as the Avengers? Yeah probably. I need to see the endgame first.
I do appreciate that you don't have to always go back to a hub to do your missions all the time like Avengers did, its all just fluent and in the open world.
Oh and the 'side missions' are a let down, repetitive as but the fun gameplay loop keeps it from being 'boring'.

From looking online, there's a strong feel of "you either love it or hate it".
There's elements in there that are good, very good in fact, but depending on your personal tastes and sensibilities the flaws might be too much or not a factor.

Modern games do often have that very play dough/plastic look that makes everything look fake. Starfield, Dragon Age Inquisition, and The Outer Worlds come to mind.
