The upcoming remake of Dead Space will have an alternate ending, according to its trophies.

The game’s full trophy list has been posted by Exophase, and includes one trophy that suggests the remake won’t have a single ending.

The trophy’s title could be considered a spoiler so we won’t name it here, but the description reads: “See the alternative ending on any difficulty mode.”

The original Dead Space only had one ending, essentially confirming that the remake will have at least some extra story content not previously seen.

Remember when people were defending crunch culture? Well what happens when you crunch and the game comes out like shit anyway? Callisto could have had a real breakout IP on its hands if it had just taken the time to get it right. But noooo gotta hit the holidays.

The game is in a much better state now after a dozen patches within 2 weeks of release, but yes the push to get it out before the holidays really fucked up that game.

I'm glad EA of all people were happy to delay Dead Space for development.

Assuming it's not something stupid or poorly-written, I'm fine with this. It makes sense given the more "open world" structure of the remake. We all know what the actual canon ending is anyways, so this won't change really change anything
