Bend's legacy is a shitty low 70 on Metacritic? Yikes!
Aggregated stats never tell the full story. Bend rereleased a few Syphon Filters recently and the games still hold up. Days Gone (bugs gone version) is a great game that suffered at launch. I've enjoyed most of the Bend games on Playstation...never played Busby 3D.
I'm annoyed that Naughty Dog don't allow Uncharted Vita to be retooled for Playstation consoles.
On a separate note Terminator Resistance is a 7/10 game but it's an incredible game. Metacritic would advise to avoid it, I'd advise to play it unashamedly.
Those games you want ported to PC wouldn't have existed if it wasn't for the consoles in the first place.
If you can afford to burn thousands on the latest NVidia card, you can afford a PS5 (Pro).

It's a terrible decision, just like the decision to force an early release of DaysGone with poor marketing.
It's worth noting that many technical issues were related to UE4 not working well with openworld, and BendStudio solved these problems in updates.
But journalists and the PC community attacked the game for things that were forgiven by other studios and publishers.
That's why I partially understand Garvin.
Imagine releasing a $700 digital-only console when you've released a whopping 4 first party exclusive games for the console. It's really depressing seeing how much of a nosedive PlayStation has taken this gen. This only solidifies my choice to cancel PS+. If the pro was actually fairly priced and didn't require a disc drive add-on to be on par with my 4 year old hardware that cost me $500, I was thinking about picking one up. The good news is Sony made the decision easy for me!

You could ask the same about High end Nvidia GPU's, yet people still buy them even if they bitch about the price.
Those people are morons. Anyone buying a high end GPU for gaming is a fucking moron.
The tech isn't there for 4k to be worth it, especially on consoles and especially with the upres techniques available.

That price makes me think the PS6 is going to pricey as all hell and if that’s the case I might as well buy a pc and just get the Sony and Microsoft games all in one spot and buy a switch 2 as well.
The price is related to inflation and laying down future risks, but at the same time, Sony offers nothing new, where are the new releases?
We still have no quality projects that would use the potential of PS5 FAT\SLIM, and they are releasing new hardware, and probably hoping for GTA VI to justify it, although in my opinion, if the game is released on XSS, it will look and work great on PS5 FAT\SLIM.
Considering Covid, the semiconductor crisis at the launch of PS5, and the economic downturn, the introduction of PS5 PRO is not the best idea. And let's also take into account PC ports, which also hit both PS5 FAT\SLIM and PS5 PRO positions hard.
