Do not be surprised because Microsoft has used dirty tactics against the competition. An example of this would be when Phil admitted to using Mason Morfit a former board member to buy shares in Nintendo. This would give Microsoft more leverage over Nintendo and their future goals or even a hostile takeover. This was a former board member and if I remember correctly Gabe Newell was a former Microsoft employee. Is Microsoft also using Steam as a proxy to take enough market share from Sony and when the time is right Microsoft steps in and acquire Valve? Might sound crazy, but it's just a thought. Like I said Microsoft is willing to play dirty and slimy.

They did the same with Nokia when they wouldn't sell their Mobile phone division to Microsoft (MS wanted some IPs). They sent an ex windows phone director to Nokia, who ended up heading the Nokia phone division, tanked it through two years of bad decisions, then sold the division to Microsoft...where the director then took a job running the Windows phone department.

I don't think Horizon makes sense to bring up because the original did very well on Steam and is in some ways a better product (no required login to a separate account). It also already looked really good, rendering the remaster bizarre and unnecessary.
How did the Horizon remaster do on PS5? Are there any numbers available?

Basically, something about the Playstation SDK is causing severe game hitches in the Horizon remaster. The Playstation SDK also continues running and causing performance issues on PCs even if you close the game.
