If I am being serious, I will go with Astrobot.

Loved every second of it, saying that I have not played many in the list of those games.

Saying all that, abit disppointed that Stella blade is not in the list, have alot of friends that really enjoyed their time with it,

Stellar Blade got a lot of nomination... I voted on it in some categories.
But for me it is not GOTY content.
Balatro too.

I think there are better games out this year to be there...

Astrobot was amazing, my personal GOTY. But I think Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth deserves it, they put in so much effort ad done a great job

yeah, FF7RR is a best game by far this year. Astro Bot is wonderful too. Stellar Blade second to non also.

I think if we set it up like the old school Gaf version - top 10 games from each person in order and why. Great way to see a broader view of games and why people loved those games.

What is kind of funny is if the release date pushes, or is otherwise uncertain, it can be most anticipated again in future years. Elden Ring won it in both 2020 and 2021.

Now chineses voting for Wukong (Weibo is already asking everybody to vote for it).

Yeap Wukong is the GOTY if the award is really by player votes… unless journalists have more weight than popular vote.
