If it hits that milestone before 2026 which it very well could with the pc and tv show then it will outpace TLOU original

People also forget that TLOU sales benefited significantly from PS4 lacking backwards compatibility.

Millions of people had to buy the game twice.

If the PS5 wasn’t BC with PS4, TLOU2 would have sold another like 5 million.

I tried to follow the discussion but it made no sense anymore… I mean a thread most of times have a progressive line of discussion… this one basically feels like unrelated subjects throw away.

The merge of what happened basically killed it… that is why merge is not a good choice in most times.

NOW. I am just saying Part 2 should be closer to 20M. As simple as that.

It took Spider-Man a full two years to get to 20 million, and that's a massive IP with a ton of name recognition. 10 mil is nothing to sneeze at for an original IP with a lot of controversy surrounding it and an entire hate campaign aimed it, or a new IP like GoT for that matter. No idea where this idea that a game selling 10 mil on a single platform is underperforming came from.

Well PS often get accused of them being the same game, so I don't know what the problem is!

Tbh it's not gonna be an easy fix, I think the best I can do for this thread is change the title!

VFX was sick of all the PS threads on the front page so he merged them all together

You should start a new GOW thread next time there is some news
