The eleven best players of the year 2022 will be rewarded with a Team of the Year card in FIFA 23. The TOTY is probably the most hyped promo--this level of top tier cards won't be seen until summer and the Team of the Season.

TOTY Voting in FIFA 23: We Choose The Final XI
What's really nice about the event is that we all could vote for the best players in FIFA 23. TOTY voting started on January 10 at 11 am EST/4 pm GMT/5 pm CET. Everyone could put together their personal dream team until January 17 and the players with the most votes made it into the final Team of the Year XI.
TOTY Release Date
EA will present the attackers, midfielders, and defenders (including the goalie) separately in FUT. Afterwards we get the TOTY XI and Icon Team 2. All FIFA 23 Team of the Year players including the 12th man and Honourable Mentions are in packs on January 27!

The TOTY In FIFA 23: With Messi, Mbappé, De Bruyne And Benzema
So this is the final TOTY XI. The biggest surprise is certainly Dortmund's Jude Bellingham, because Bundesliga players usually only have outsider chances of a TOTY card. But that shows how incredible good the Englishman played last year.
Kylian Mbappé got the most votes of any forward with 23%. Kevin de Bruyne was the most successful midfielder with 21%, Achraf Hakimi the best defender with 15% and Thibaut Courtois the strongest goalkeeper with 56%.

Voting for the 12th man that will be added to the TOTY will take place in FUT on January 23. We expect the vote to be live at 6 pm GMT. The 12th man will be part of the TOTY that is live on January, 27. These are the candidates:

TOTY Icons in FIFA 23
TOTY Icons Team 1 brings awesome upgrades to well-known FUT Icons. Including a Ruud Gullit, who should improve almost every squad out there. But David Beckham as a TOTY Icon would also be awesome.
