Wouldn’t be surprised if they are in it but no should be more along the lines for the Guardians of the Galaxy game
I expect timesavers to be present too, as Ubi seems incapable of making an open world game without crafting and timesavers

It was a matter of time until they announced the delay. Also not surprised that they are targeting their next fiscal year, means probably late 2023, if not even early 2024.

I'm not for anyone losing their jobs but Ubisoft has to be one of the worst devs/pubs this industry has ever seen. seeing them close up shop is nothing short of exciting, hate to say it. They've contributed nothing for nearly a decade and are responsible for mainstreaming some of the most predatory, anti-consumer bullshit and poor game design that plague all facets of the industry today.

Good riddance to bad garbage, I say.

These companies know very well these games aren't meeting any deadline they set. There was no delay it was never supposed to release soon

Are they releasing anything this year?
Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope for Nintendo Switch on October 8th and Skull & Bones for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on November 8th. Not expecting much from Skull & Bones but expecting an 85+ for Sparks of Hope.

Was hoping that Avatar was going to get delayed. My 2022 ten game list is finally set -

01. Dying Light 2: Stay Human (completed)
02. Horizon II: Forbidden West (completed)
03. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands (completed)
04. Sword and Fairy: Together Forever (august 4th/PS5)
05. Steel Rising (september 8th)
06. Evil West (september 20th)
07. A Plague Tale: Requiem (october 18th)
08. Gotham Knights (october 25th)
09. God of War Ragnarok (november 9th/PS5)
10. The Callisto Protocol (december 2nd)

If any of the unreleased games get delayed, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is my backup game.

Seeing how I’m expecting another copy and paste Ubisoft open world assassin’s creed game with a new skin…. From ghost recon, to division, to asscreed… it’s all the same shit… go find the question mark on the map and be thoroughly disappointed that’s all those games are about… checking off useless shit on the map.

They can cancel this indefinitely for all I care. All Ubisoft games are the same and never noteworthy at anything.

I’d rather see a crew 2 next gen port

Not true at all.

They recently released in the last year or so Roller Champions, Riders Republic, Just Dance 2022, Discovery Tour: Viking Age for AC Valhalla, Clash of Beasts, Trivial Pursuit Live! 2, Rabbids: Party of Legends or Monopoly Madness and for later this year or so they have planned Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Oddballers, Skull & Bones, Rainbow Six Mobile, The Settlers or Rocksmith+. Plus they are still very successful with older games that recently got updates like Rainbow Six Siege, The Crew 2 or For Honor.

And well, I won't mention the important differences between their open world games.

These companies know very well these games aren't meeting any deadline they set. There was no delay it was never supposed to release soon
It's common in any game company to see they won't meet a milestone, specially for the games that have been under development during the pandemic, and typical things to help is to cut content, to hire more people, to crunch or to delay. The best option for the devs and the game typically is to delay even if they already announced a date and that creates bad PC because that makes angry some people who has no idea about game development like you.

I'm not for anyone losing their jobs but Ubisoft has to be one of the worst devs/pubs this industry has ever seen.
As someone who worked there and has friends in many Ubisoft studios or in many several other AAA and indie companies I can tell you it's one of the top 3rd parties in gaming both in money generated to and to work there.

They've contributed nothing for nearly a decade and are responsible for mainstreaming some of the most predatory, anti-consumer bullshit and poor game design that plague all facets of the industry today.
Everything included here is totally wrong. Seems you either didn't play their games, don't know many of them or don't know what other non-Ubisoft games are doing out there. Ubisoft is a virgin nun compared to them.
