Xbox will continue to be viable as long as Windows Gaming aka PC gaming is viable - the porting is relatively easy between them. The Xbox ecosystem would have to be under 10m for a real exodus (Western devs/pubs). Not happening anytime soon. Certain genre's however, like highly stylized/spiky hair Japanese titles will continue to miss the platform cause there is literally no chance in hell the endeavor is worth it. The current trends however make it very easy for Sony to acquire exclusive third party deals - specially when Sony gives their "partners" a pass on a PC release (which shouldn't be the case).
