The crazy thing is a couple of weeks after release the devs themselves stated it was almost 50/50 and close overall
UK Monthly Charts-PS5 #1, Helldivers 2 consecutive weeks sales growth (up 115% in week 2, up 21% week 3). A hit on both PC/PS5 with 57% sales on PS5!

I respect acknowledging a wrong assumption even though things aren't finite yet. I wouldn't rule out a 55/45 split or something close.My badthough I'm sure the initial split was 75/25. Happy to be wrong and not be a total bitch about making a mistake.

If helldivers 2 also came on xbox aswell, chris wouldn't give these splits out. I know what game his playing.

You know what pisses me off about this forum and it's the only downfall of it, is that it has the same tribalism as Neogaf, resetera, n4g, ign etc.
I've praised Sony plenty in the past. Gave them great reviews for their PSVR2 and hardware in general.
I won't give them credit when it comes to actively harming their own brand. Especially as they're following the exact same path as Xbox. I was a big OG Xbox and 360 fan, then they dropped the ball and I criticised their direction because it was the wrong one.
Now I'm doing the same for Sony. If you can't see how they're a shadow of their former selves and are currently committing slow hari Kari then that's on you. But don't hand wave away criticism as fanboyism because it then makes conversation pointless.
If all opinions are waved away as hurr durr fanboyism, without trying understand the frustrations, then you're objectively slow witted.

Yeah ppl on here even said 75% on PCwell a person did. It's very close overall.
The CEO of arrowhead said sales were close on both platforms and some people still believed it was like 70-30 in favor of PC. I mean, why wouldn’t we trust the CEO’s numbers?

these are uk numbers and you're ok extrapolating it to the whole world? but you didn't like the logic of comparing known steam numbers with a known fixed player cap?

Isn't steam numbers just players opening the app? During the server problems when it was peaking it could have been just people spamming the server trying to login.
I saw that kari kari could happen in 2020, just because some isn't dooming PS every day (we have nomhnom and danja for that
) doesn't mean they are happy.

Chris himself said it was 60% on PC. Mat NPD also implied it was selling more on PC when the truth is PS5 is selling more.
Always with the agenda when it's Sony-related. They want to prove the console market is dying when it's Xbox only.
