The way these guys are behaving really makes me think this investigation might have teeth. Usually concerns are dismissed with “lol” or “but gamepass” but this is a whole new level of rage I haven’t seen from them.

It's not that they are entitled to their market share but some company coming in and buying market position rather than earning it, isn't good for any industry.
That is not adding to the industry, it is buying the industry out hoarding it from others and offering it at a price so as to bleed your competition....

You're the third person who clearly didn't look into that acquisition, they stopped nothing. Not only is that different because ARM is a UK company, they were getting pushback from multiple other regulatory boards as well.
No one actually blocked the acquisition, it never got to that stage but given the level of pushback Nvidia and ARM were both getting they mutually decided to dissolve the acquisition. You guys need to do research before you come in here guns blazing.
Sony earned their market share and it took years and years to get there. It's not equivalent to what MS is doing, but it's unsurprising that invested fans refuse to see the difference. As well, attacking or attributing ulterior motives to a regulatory body is also not unsurprising but still nonsensical. This is a process. It's designed to ensure fairness and healthy competition. And MS can take care of themselves and are doing so as they go through it. Some of the takes, though, are just:
