I played this game way back on PS4 when it first came out. Liked it a lot. I want to try the quarry. But I feel iv kind of moved on from these games. I couldn't even get all the way through Detroit.

Just not my thing anymore.

But anyone into horror will love Until Dawn. Still really great casting, great concept, cool story and its something if your into saw movies you want to see gruesome deaths. There are a couple.

This game being remade in the first place is pure clownery putting aside the pc port. You are not going to convince me that the 30-40 million dollars they spent for this remake could not have been spent on a small AA game which would have been new, heck go get a jrpg made in HD-2D style like octopath.

Even dumber that they went from an in-house engine (one of the bests around) to an engine known for a series of issues.

Guess by calling this a remake, they thought they wouldn't have to give an upgrade option.

Same here, I really enjoyed it back when released. The slasher movie vibes was refreshing, it had awesome visuals and it was great to have all that story branches.

I like to see they're rehashing it, let's hope it reaches way more people and this helps with the movie to increase the chances to get a sequel (in case they aren't already working on it).

What about the PS5 Pro version? Sony is just such a mess of a company.

Why not announce the Pro enhancements instead? Shameful.
Why they should announce the Pro enhacements in a post about the PC specs and features? In each post they talk about a single topic. Today they talk about this. Other day will talk about PS5 Pro enhacements of this or other games.

This forums is really annoying seeing every single Sony thread being derailed with anti-Sony complains unrelated to the topic.

I look forward to the CCU thread

CCUs are good to track the active userbase in MP/GaaS titles. But are worthless for non-GaaS SP games like this one because specially on PC where sales particularly spread across several years because many people waits for discounts. Particularly in case late full priced ports like this one.

PC has a niche of several pretty popular horror games, I think this can work well. But like any full priced late port (including remastereds/remades) not day one.

not even sure why this one when you have Resistance, Killzone, Infamous and other games, which are way more requested then this ever was.

I agree that no remake was necessary. Just a free PS5 patch and PC port. Remaking an 8th generation game seems overkill Hell, 7th generation games look good enough with resolution, texture filtering and FPS boosts. But this is modern Sony.

I think sony pictures and music has too much sway at sony corporate, they really are remaking a game in preparation for a B grade slasher movie. The ps5 sales have collapsed this week in japan. Something needs to drastically change, these unwanted remakes, price hikes are going to destroy any goodwill they have. They have just given up on japan, absolute fucking clownery.

This is a company that remastered Last of Us 2...a game that came out barely 4 years ago.

That game I can understand and you could upgrade for 10$, the roguelike mode alone is worth that and who are we kidding TLoU sells a lot. No one is even a fan of Until Dawn

So this remake screwed up the semi fixed camera angles? I was looking forward for a high end game with that approach. Looked great on the PS4.

The key word in my post is "Instead" They could've posted about the Pro enhancements "instead" of mentioning the PC port. What do you not understand?
