In my opinion, this is the worst kind of way to implement this.
PSN is only supported in 70~ countries, they should let us be able to change regions, because alot of people make accounts from non-supported countries.
And they should expand to more regions.
This is only going to cause more & more piracy if PSN is not expanded and doesn't let us change regions.

It was a issue that not existed before Steam first world problems players started to review bomb Helldivers 2.
Now actual gamers are gatekeep in these 70 countries
Not porting their single player games makes a lot more sense, that should've been the first hint of how clueless they are.
They are preparing for their own PC store. They are corporate, they either takr that whole PC market or they are out. Ports and few $100s of million won't cut it for them.
Shouldn't have bent the knee over Helldivers 2 PSN Sign-In... Should just have tied next update to the account linking, and rewarded people with some cool free shit for doing so.
Imagine not buying such a great game that will give you a 40 hour epic just because you have to create an account.
