I'm guessing that would make Hellblade II and Avowed 2024 games? Wouldn't be surprised if Perfect Dark AND Fable are 2026 games...meaning there's a chance Avowed probably gets delayed to 2025, knowing Microsoft.

Hellblade II wasn't even at full production around the end of 2021, so I highly doubt its release date is remotely close. The first version of UE5 wasn't ready until last year. I highly doubt it can be released before 2025.

How can this be? The shills assured me that the Hellblade 2019 trailer was in game graphics, captured from an Xbox Series X, running on an engine that didn't get released until january 2021...

Phil Conman's playbook has always been to fake-announce games as hardcore gamer 'bait' to sell the console.

it's always smoke and mirrors, and none of these games exist beyond a concept on a piece of paper. MS studios also doesn't have the resources or talent to see the projects through to completion.

Scalebound and Fable were both cancelled, even though they were 90%+ complete. Lionhead were confused as to why it was cancelled when it was ready to be shipped, then the studio was closed.

Bethesda is the only thing they got going. The rest is friggin’ vapor ware. And immediately they cut the work force of Bethesda because of whose failings? Not Bethesda’s that’s for sure. RIP ZeniMax.

It was a good idea before they pulled the emergency lever by buying Bethesda when they realized Infinite was a disaster and wasn’t gonna make launch. They needed to buy goodwill at the time.

that's my reasoning as well, it's the frontrunner for never coming out.

Rare just hired some other studio to help them with Sea of Thieves as well, so its safe to say they have no resources for everwild left.

Expecting both to just quietly go away one day.

It truly is frustrating how this failure of a game company and brand is attempting to strong arm its way into the industry with publisher acquisitions. The company least qualified to do it seemingly has endless funds to do it too. Antitrust regulators should investigate how xbox has been allowed to bleed money for 20 years and im somewhat surprised sony hasnt gone that angle.
