Deep into Ryse Son of Rome on PC via moonlight to the theatre, 4k 60 max. Up to fighting fellow Romans under the command of the corrupt Emperor.

The combat showed its shallow nature at some point - making me think, ahh there it is - those original reviews, but as the difficulty picks up - the crunchy balllet elevates.

The visuals look current Gen. Incredible for a game of this vintage.

Am enjoying it.

Next few weeks will be a Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War/Vanguard/Modern Warfare II campaign binge starting with -

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War campaign. About halfway through and damn, it's really good. Best campaign since 2016's Infinite Warfare in my opinion. Action packed, looks great, good locations, combat/gameplay feels so satisfying. Solid story thus far.

I can't get my mic to work in COD. I can hear people. My mic is showing next to my name just fine. But it doesn't detect that I am talking. I have tried wired and wireless mics, and I have done all the typical troubleshooting. I guess one last thing I need to try is to connect my Xbox with the cat 5 cable instead of playing it wireless over the internet. Some people said that fix their mic issues.

That sucks. I can't really comment on this though because I play off-line and campaigns only. Don't care about online co-op/multi-player. Sorry.

Batman arkham city.

Still holds up to this day. Sort your shit out rocksteady, you have the blueprints to success.

Also 30fps in arkham city just doesn't feel like 30fps like in more modern games.

For example when i played ff7 rebrith on 30fps mode i could tell immediatley, arkahm city on the other i can tell it's not 60fps but doesn't feel as bad as 30fps.

Had my first encounter with pyramid head - yeah bloober cooked, astrobot the final few trophies are left. The final week of october has the games I will pick up - romance of 3 kingdoms 8 remake, romancing saga.

Btw if anyone has picked up the new dbz budokai game please give impressions, I noped out of dbz games after xenoverse 2 so if the new budokai is good I will pick it up

Well, completed the Black Ops Cold War campaign and man, it was really good. Didn't like the "good" ending but I understand why it goes the way that it did. The two side operations were short but solid with all the intel acquired that was needed.

Visuals - 9.0/10 (excellent)
Audio - 8.5/10 (great)
Combat/Gameplay - 8.5/10 (great)
Story/Characters - 8.0/10 (great)
Overall - 8.5/10 (great)

Will start Vanguard campaign tomorrow or I may wait until Friday as I have work Wednesday and Thursday.

I’m about 8 hours into Silent Hill 2. I have never played the OG but have heard it’s praises my entire life.

Just going to go ahead and say if the game remains this consistent to end then it’ll probably be my goat horror game. I’m honestly completely blown away by every aspect of this game.

Finished Astro Bot with around 210 bots. Fun game, but I prefer the likes of Ratchet in the genre due to a narrative story.

Onto Hellblade 2. Big fan of Ninja Theory, played all their games so this was a must. Lack of a PS5 version forced me to PC. No complaints via Moonlight to theater, 4k 60 max. Game looks stunning and I personally dig the simplicity and the fever dream plot and presentation.
