What did you think about this years Tokyo Game Show Compared to other years?

Now that we had a week to think about it, what do you think of Tokyo Game Show 2022? (Please do not include any announcements from The State of Play or Direct on your rating of the show)
Was it better than usual? or just the same as always?

In all honesty, I can't really remember anything about it. All the big news was during the other two conferences.

Nothing memorable. State of Play was a memorable one though, but it's still just an SOP.

I hope Sony holds a big PlayStation Showcase this or next month and finally shares the goodness with all of us.

the street fighter showing was great and the suikoden remasters were great as well! I think compared to previous years this showing was actually one of the more memorable ones

Forgot about the suikoden remasters. I've never played them before, but I've wanted to check them out.

Voted C. Nothing really major happened and I think those days are gone. With social media, twitter, youtube, etc., you don't really need to save announcements and whatnot for showcases anymore. If you get them, great but if not, you'll get them another way. Only thing of value from TGS for me and that's if you even want to count it would be Like a Dragon Gaiden. Other than that, nothing for me. In general, Street Fighter 6 would probably be the main draw and the Suikoden 1 & 2 remasters which looks like Konami actually put some effort into them. Otherwise, basically an average show at best.

It feels like the amount of coverage and the amount of big reveals was much lower than previous years.
