What do you guys do for a living?

I've interacted with many of you for awhile now and we have a cool, great community. I'm curious what do some of you do for a living?

I'm a director for a training department tht creates and maintains affordable cooperative housing all over NYC. This housing is specifically geared towards low to moderate income families.

So we create tht type of housing and in between creation we have to train residents on budgets, legal docs, organization, management, etc.

We believe housing is a right, not a privelage for all.

Pays well but it can be a fuckton of work during staffing crisis. My work only takes me 5 hours a day tops, then I shit around on my computer and pretend to look busy until something pops up.

Being in the workforce for 3 years, I'm already bored with the cycle, and might pursue more education in the near future.

Industry Digitalization / Industry 4.0 & 5.0 for an European RTO.

Basically data for machines and processes, applying retrofitting to digitalize older production lines, using AI to improve/accelerate production, etc.

One cool thing we're doing is dabbling with headset AR to make Web3 / Industrial Metaverse apps, like using Hololens to replace the screens.
They're Unity apps, so we're basically making videogame UIs/UX for industrial operators using real production data.
And with multimodal AI we'll make it talk, just like Iron Man's Jarvis
