Did Jez get into either test? If not he needs to shut up. These media people with the most negative takes on Marathon never played it. It's only getting hate because PlayStation owns Bungie.

They are really doing their best to spread their fud narratives as usual, can clock it on the timing of negative MS PR.
corden working over time to distract from Microsoft bad news. He really wants marathon to failure because if it succeeds Microsoft faces a huge 1 because they were talking to Bungie for a sale for far less than what Sony offered. They could have ended up owning gummy bears, marathon and destiny and had the chance to put Bungie back on halo. Marathon needs to fail so Microsoft can look lie they did F up.

But I do think that Marathon's post reveal reaction has been fairly mixed even among those potentially most interested to give it a try.
Def not the best first foot forward and we know just how important first impressions are to the potential success of a GaaS title.

Go play destiny 2. I mean if the game was any good we would not be in a forum talking about their games instead we would be playing them.

Bungie knows an extraction shooter isn’t for everyone.
For those that want a PvPvE extraction shooter I’ve heard nothing but largely positive things to say about the gunplay, characters, and long form loot progression.
It doesn’t need to be for everyone. That’s fine. It’s not doomed. All the green rats are doing their hardest to push this concord 2.0 narrative.
You know what’s the next Concord? Xbox hardware

Yup. Not everyone wants to play shooters online at all, let alone an extraction one.
It really means nothing, this audience of people complaining about a genre they don’t care about isn’t reality and has no bearing on success

Bungie and Marathon was going to get shit on regardless of the games quality.

Check the Marathon subreddit, the majority of them looking forward to Arc Raiders and are generally more interested in that.
It does seem like everything going against the success of Marathon.

You speaking all facts you take Arc Raiders and Marathon and switch places with who is their Publishers everyone would be praising Marathon and thrashing Arc Raiders. From what I have seen so far Marathon has the better gameplay and presentation Arc Raiders just look like any other generic 3rd person action game out there but is getting hyped up so much by these guys.
The effect is these mediocre games are getting overhyped but are doing well with positive news and popularity cause of the influence on all the causals by these trolls. These guys already know PlayStation got a chokehold of the best single player games out there they don't want Sony to succeed in the live service pvp multiplayer realm those haters are very spiteful and jealous its so easy to see this nonsense if peeps just used their brains.
